Paradise beaches, a quiet island and a relaxing life... We are talking about Holbox, the heaven on earth. It is located in the north of the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, and has become one of the most visited spots by tourists.

The island of Holbox offers miles of white virgin beaches with coral sand that makes possible to walk on the beach without burning our feet, even if it's a really sunny day. But not all is beach in Holbox, its island scenery gets together with the exuberant vegetation of its swamps; and in turn, this beautiful island is provided with a protected area called Yum Balam that is the home of more than 30 species of migratory birds, making Holbox its resting area.

The visit of the biggest fish of the world

Year by year, during May to September, Holbox welcome a colossus of the seas, the whale shark, who in spite of its name, it's not a whale or a common shark, it's a fish who pleases to travel alone and feeds on plankton, therefore it does not present danger for the human being.
