Los Cabos Open of Surf 2017

Where the desert meets the ocean, where the lands end and the waves hold you into the deep… There, Los Cabos Open of Surf begins!

Los Cabos Open of Surf is the premiere professional surf and music event in México. Beginning in 2013, The Los Cabos Open of Surf started only as men’s competition, but in 2014, the most qualified women surfers have been able to prove their prowess on the waves too.

The main event site is held at the world-famous surf spot, Zippers, located at Costa Azul, San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, México. (only 5 minutes away from our hotel!)

Like in previous years, you can enjoy the surfing action during the whole week of the event and also on the closing night of the event there’s been music show on the last nigth that has put people to dance until midnight, highlights of the groups are the venezuelans Los amigos Invisibles in 2014, with a disc fusion, acid jazz and funk mixed with latin rhythms; the mexican rock band Fobia, closed the event in 2015 and, in its latest edition were the participation of Kinky, mexican of alternative rock band who put, as previous bands, an incredible atmosphere.

This year, the biggest event of surf in Latin America starts on June 6,

for six days of competitions, music shows and lots of fun!

Therefore, it'll be counted with the presence of the renowned surfers Anastasia Ashley as host like every year, Alana Blanchard will tell us #HowtodoLosCabos properly and, fighting for the first place will participate the one and only Tia Blanco, the brazilian power with Silvana Lima, Johanne Deffay representing France, and much more talent.
